Content & Transparency Policy

1. How do we select venues?

All venues, restaurants and places featured on the site are selected by editorial criteria and free of charge. In our evaluation we consider the following:

• Overall visitor experience and satisfaction,
• The value it adds to the region and culture,
• Accessibility and location,
• Authenticity and how recommendable it is.

For a venue to appear on Gezdor, it does not need to make an agreement with us or pay any fee, and no such fee is charged. No business can buy its ranking or visibility by paying to be listed.

2. Sponsored content

There is currently no sponsored content on our site. Should a commercial collaboration with a business take place in the future, the relevant content will be clearly marked with a "Sponsored" label. This way you will always be able to clearly distinguish our editorial recommendations from commercial content.

3. Images

Restaurant and city photographs come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License, which does not require attribution.

Photographs of places to visit come from Wikimedia Commons. Most are licensed under CC BY, CC BY-SA, GFDL or the Free Art License, which require the author, the licence and the source to be credited. These credits appear beneath the gallery on each place page and are listed in full on our Image Credits page.

Images may be representative; they may not exactly reflect a venue's current appearance.

4. Accuracy and currency

We try to keep our content as accurate and current as possible; however, we remind you that information may change over time. If you notice an error, letting us know helps us improve the content.

5. Content removal and correction requests

If you are the owner or representative of a venue and request that content about your business be removed or corrected from our site, simply get in touch with us. For image copyright, incorrect information or removal requests:

• Stating the venue's name, city and your reason in your request speeds up our work.

We assess valid requests within a reasonable time and take the necessary action.
