Bringing together Konya's traditional desserts, this modest sweet shop has made its name especially with the region-specific sac arası and höşmerim. Its sweets, served warm, offer a sweet close to the city's food culture. Sac arası is a warm dessert in which walnut is placed between thin dough, cooked on a griddle and soaked in syrup; its crisp texture and walnut aroma leave a mark on the palate. The milk- and cheese-based höşmerim, with its soft consistency, is an entirely different but equally traditional flavour. With a glass of Konya's famous tea or a Turkish coffee alongside, these nostalgic sweets complete the regional culinary experience; they can be eaten in or taken away.
